Ways to save money at the grocery store

I’m always looking to save money at the grocery store.  Now that hubby and I have combined our food budget into a separate account, I am amazed at how much we’re spending.  So, I went looking online at ways to save money and I found the enclosed video, Ways to Save on Groceries That No One Talks About.  It’s not just about coupon clipping, it’s actually a different take than I’ve seen before.  It’s about reducing food waste as well as shopping smarter.

Since hubby does most of our shopping and cooking (personally, I hate shopping for groceries), I have shared the video with him.  I’m hopeful he will take it to heart and use some of the techniques that are discussed in this video.  But of course, time will tell.  In the comments section, I found additional suggestions, so I hope you read some of those as well.
