About Me

Many of you want to know more about me, so here goes.  I was married for thirty-three years when my first husband passed away. Like many widows and widowers, I had a lot to figure out.  Not only did I have to recover emotionally, but I also had to figure out how to pick up the financial pieces of my life and move forward. This is my story and how I did it. I wanted to share my story hoping to help others.

I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and a Master of Science degree in Instructional Technology and Telecommunications.  Please note that nowhere in my education does it say I’m an expert in personal finance.  What that proves is that you can learn this financial stuff just like I did.

I have three children and four grandchildren.  While I am now retired, I was working for many years after hubby number one passed away.

This book is geared primarily to those of you who are getting your act together during your middle ages.  However, the concepts outlined will apply to any age group.  You can apply these principles when you’re young, old, or in between.

I have written this book in hopes that you will act on and follow some of the steps I’ve outlined.  It is my hope to pay it forward and help my readers.

Now that you know more about me, who are you?
