Thrift Store Shopping
I have been losing weight and so far, I’ve lost over 55 pounds. (YAY to me!!!) As a result, my clothes have become extremely baggy. I really look like I’m wearing someone else’s clothing. As a result, I’ve been shopping at thrift stores.I don’t want to replace my entire wardrobe yet. If I spend the money now to replace everything, I’ll only have to spend again as my weight goes down. That’s just money wasted. And, I’ll end up donating my new wardrobe to the thrift store.
Recently, I found a really cute top in my current size that looked virtually new and purchased it. It was a bit dressy so I wore it to a special occasion and got a lot of compliments. Nobody knew I paid a whopping $6.00 for it.
What is today’s moral of this story?
If you’re tight on funds or losing weight like me, go thrift store shopping. You can save a lot of money and get new or nearly new items for very little cash. And you’re not limited to clothing. You can find furniture, kitchen items, and a lot of other things that you might need. Try it…. you might get hooked!
